About me
Beeral Gupta has been a passionate advocate for survivors of domestic violence for her entire legal career. With a Juris Doctorate from South Texas College of Law (2006) and a BBA in Finance and Marketing from the University of Texas at Austin (2003), she skillfully combines her legal expertise with a strong foundation in business. Beeral began her legal career as the managing attorney of her own family law practice, Amin Law Office, where she advocated for survivors of intimate partner violence by guiding them through the complexities of the legal system with compassion and expertise.
Beeral currently serves as a Staff Attorney for the Texas Advocacy Project in Austin, Texas. Beeral provides crucial legal advice, assists clients in self-representation, and offers direct representation to survivors of dating and domestic violence, child abuse, sexual assault and human trafficking. Through her position at TAP, Beeral presents trainings on Protective Orders, facilitates the creation of instructional how-to videos for pro se clients, and represents TAP at local SAART meetings.
Prior to joining the Texas Advocacy Project, Beeral was an active volunteer with The SAFE Alliance, and a pro bono attorney for VECINA. At SAFE, Beeral served on the Public Policy Committee and on special projects for Marketing & Communications. Her efforts included developing educational materials to raise awareness about domestic violence, as well as advising on legislative updates in Texas. At VECINA’s ReUnite Project, Beeral supported families of asylum-seekers at the southern border, facilitating the swift reunification of children with their families.
