Attorneys are mandatory reporters for both child and elder abuse, and the mandatory reporting requirements may impact our case work in a variety of areas of law as legal aid practitioners. This session will discuss practical solutions to navigate confidentiality, care for our clients as people, and our mandatory reporting obligations. Presenter will provide case studies for situations where she has made reports to protect clients.
