This session will cover how legal professionals can prepare families for the civil impacts of an absent parent or adult household member resulting from an immigration emergency. It will cover caregiver authorization agreements, special powers of attorney, durable powers of attorney, and other legal documents, and orient participants to existing tools and primers to improve their practice.
