Thursday August 28, 2025 9:00am - 11:00am CDT
Join us for a dynamic and interactive session designed for beginner attorneys and paralegals looking to develop foundational estate planning skills tailored to the needs of low-income Texans. This session will provide a comprehensive overview of estate planning considerations unique to individuals with limited financial resources, including common challenges, client misconceptions, and best practices for addressing these issues.

Through a hands-on drafting exercise, attendees will review a fact pattern and practice drafting both Wills and Transfer on Death Deeds (TODDs), gaining invaluable experience in navigating real-world legal scenarios. By the end of the session, participants will be better equipped to assist clients in securing their futures, protecting their assets, and avoiding common pitfalls in estate planning.
