How does this trauma affect the case? What are the signs for me, as the lawyer, to watch for? How does this trauma affect my ability to obtain and develop the case facts? What special techniques, beginning at the interview stage and throughout the case, might I need to use to best represent these clients? Are there strategies I can use to help my client survive the litigation process? This session will test your knowledge about the causes of and signs of trauma, discuss stress relief techniques, and offer ideas to make sure you have the skills necessary for effective representation.
